Prempeh College wins 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz

Prempeh College has won the 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), to bring their championship tally to five.

They won with 53 points as against 49 points by the Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School (PRESEC.)

Keta Senior High and Technical School (KETASCO) came third with 30 points.

Prempeh College has been crowned winners of the 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz.

The Kumasi-based school defeated defending champions Presbyterian Secondary School (PRESEC Legon) from Accra and Keta SHTS from the Volta Region in the keenly contested final held at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi.

Prior to the final, PRESEC Legon were determined to defend the title to become seven time winners of the competition whilst Prempeh College were chasing for their fifth title.

Keta SHTS were a first time finalist and the first school from the Volta Region to reach the final but couldn’t withstand the competition from Prempeh College and PRESEC Legon.

The Green and Gold lads emerged winners of the competition after five rounds of fierce battle, accumulating 53 points whilst PRESEC Legon and Keta SHTS came second and third with 49 and 30 points respectively.
